RnR Final Music
Music at international Rock’n’Roll championships It is of utmost importance in Rock’n’Roll dancing that the music that is used at these events has the Rock’n’Roll rhythm. The following procedure will apply: As the first step, a list of Rock’n’Roll songs will be compiled and issued on CDs. The organisers of a WRRC championship may use song titles from this list or the official CD.Rock'n'Roll Youth and Junior Couples are not allowed to have their own music for the final. They have to select songs from WRRC official CDs number 10/11/12/50 (see section "Competition music" for detailed list and orders) Rock'n'Roll Main Class and B class couples, Rock'n'Roll formations and Rock'n'Roll Girl Formations who want to use their own music (for the final) must have it approved by the WRRC committee. The selected music may be sent to the WRRC by email (MP3 file). The music committee will decide whether or not the submitted piece may be used for the Rock’n’Roll finale. If the committee decides it may be used, then the couple will be given an approved number. This will ensure that the couple uses approved music at the championships (checked by an observer).
